Thusia Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thusia mobile apps, the websites at thusia.com and thusia.app (including register.thusia.app), and the related services we provide (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Thusia Inc., 154 West Carmel Drive #152, Carmel, Indiana 46032 ("Thusia," "we," "us").
By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Thusia Is
Thusia is a platform for automotive enthusiasts, collectors, clubs, and event organizers. It lets you keep a profile of your vehicles, find and register for events, buy tickets, take part in judged shows, rallies, and drives, and connect with other members.
Most events on Thusia are created and run by independent organizers, such as car clubs, show producers, and businesses ("Organizers"). Unless an event page says Thusia is the Organizer, Thusia provides the platform and processes payment, and the Organizer is responsible for the event itself.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Thusia account. If you are under 18, you may only buy tickets, subscriptions, or other paid items with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for those purchases.
You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or removed your account, or if using it would violate applicable law.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for the information in your account and for keeping it accurate. Keep your password and sign-in methods private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@thusia.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
One person, one account. Organizers and clubs may have team members with roles on their events, but each person signs in with their own account.
4. Events and Organizers
For attendees. When you register for an event, you are entering an arrangement with that event's Organizer. The Organizer sets the event details, schedule, classes, judging criteria, ticket types, capacity, waiver, and refund terms. Read the event page before you buy.
Thusia does not guarantee that any event will take place as described, and is not responsible for an Organizer's conduct, decisions, or event operations, including judging outcomes, class placement, awards, parking, or schedules.
For Organizers. If you create an event, you are responsible for it. That includes accurate event information, the safety of your event, required permits and insurance, compliance with applicable law, any waiver you present to attendees, honoring the refund policy you publish, and how you and your team use attendee information. You may use attendee information only to run your event and communicate about it, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Driving, Navigation, and Safety
Many Thusia events and features involve driving, including road rallies, tours, and Drives. You are solely responsible for how you drive.
Obey all traffic laws and posted limits at all times. Thusia events are not races on public roads.
Do not interact with the app while driving. Have a passenger operate it, or set it up before you depart.
Routes, directions, distances, timing, and map data may be incomplete or wrong. Use your own judgment about road conditions, closures, and safety.
Make sure your vehicle is roadworthy, legally registered, and insured, and that you hold a valid license.
Participation in automotive events carries inherent risks, including vehicle damage, property damage, and personal injury. You participate voluntarily and accept those risks. Organizers may require you to sign a waiver. That waiver is between you and the Organizer.
6. Payments and Fees
Prices for tickets and other items are set by the Organizer and shown before you buy. A Thusia service fee may be added, and is shown at checkout.
Thusia processes payments on behalf of Organizers through our payment processor, Stripe. By paying, you authorize the charge shown at checkout. Your card statement will show a Thusia descriptor, which may include the event or Organizer name.
Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, which will be shown at checkout where required.
7. Subscriptions
Thusia offers paid membership plans with additional features. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your subscription is billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds for those subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google.
We may change plan features or prices. Price changes apply at your next renewal, and we or the app store will notify you in advance as required.
8. Refunds
Refunds for event tickets follow the Organizer's published refund policy for that event and our Refund Policy at thusia.com/refunds.
9. Your Content
You may post content to Thusia, including vehicle profiles, photos, descriptions, maintenance records, routes, comments, and event materials ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content.
You give Thusia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service, within the visibility settings you choose. For content you make public, or content you submit to an event (such as a vehicle entry), this includes showing it to other users and to the event's Organizer, judges, and attendees. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that others have already shared, content that is part of an event's record (such as results and entry listings), and backup copies kept for a limited time.
You are responsible for Your Content. Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post other people's personal information without their permission.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Break the law, or use the Service to defraud, harass, threaten, or harm anyone
Post false, misleading, infringing, obscene, or hateful content
Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent a vehicle's ownership or history
Resell tickets in violation of an Organizer's rules, or use bots or automated means to buy tickets or collect data
Interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service
Copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law allows
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited promotions
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Judging, Scores, and Results
Judged events are scored by the Organizer's judges using the Organizer's criteria. Thusia provides the tools to record and calculate scores. Results, placements, and awards are the Organizer's decisions. Questions or disputes about judging go to the Organizer.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties, including payment processing, mapping and navigation, email delivery, and app stores. Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers' terms. Thusia is not responsible for third-party services, and links to outside websites are provided for convenience only.
13. Thusia's Rights
The Service, including the Thusia name, logo, software, and design, is owned by Thusia Inc. and protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
14. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for Thusia or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 9, 13, and 15 through 19.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thusia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that routes or map data are accurate, or that any event will occur as described.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thusia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service, any event, or any driving activity, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.
Thusia's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Thusia in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thusia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your participation in or operation of any event, your driving, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Indiana, and you and Thusia consent to their jurisdiction.
Before filing any claim, please contact us at support@thusia.com so we can try to resolve it. Most concerns can be settled quickly that way.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you through the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
